Why this exists
Picking a gaming handle should take a minute, not an afternoon of typing hopeful names into a signup box and watching them bounce. XYZ388 is built to speed that up: tell the generator a style and a length, get a batch of ideas, and copy the one you like. If you want a starting point instead, the idea lists give you plenty per game.

What it deliberately does not do
The generator makes ideas, not reservations. It never contacts a platform, so it cannot tell you whether a name is free, cannot hold one for you, and will never show you a green tick next to a name it has not actually checked. There is no account, no email capture, and no paywall, and nothing you generate is stored or resold. XYZ388 also cannot help with account, login, or ban problems on a specific platform. Only that platform's support can.

How it is funded
Out of the pockets of the people who run it. The costs are a domain, static hosting, and time. There are no ads, no sponsored placements, and no affiliate links on the site today, so nothing on a page is here because someone paid for it. If that changes, it gets disclosed before the first paid link goes live.
